We're delighted to share the very first edition of Along the Trail..., the new newsletter of the Saint Aelred's Pilgrim Trail Society.
Designed to reflect the changing seasons, the beauty of the south-west North York Moors and the growing community of people connected with the Trail, this first edition is packed with news, stories and inspiration. Inside you'll find details of upcoming pilgrimages and events, updates on the Saint Michael's Lodge Project, wildlife to look out for along the Trail, the first in our Church of the Season series, and stories from pilgrims who have completed the route.
The newsletter is very much a community publication, and we'd love future editions to include even more voices from those who know and love the Trail.
Every pilgrim has a story. We'd love to hear yours. Whether you've walked a Petal Walk, completed the full Trail, cycled, ridden, volunteered or simply enjoyed visiting one of our churches, we'd be delighted to receive your stories, reflections and photographs for a future edition of Along the Trail....
We hope you enjoy reading it—and that it inspires you to spend some time walking in the footsteps of Saint Aelred.
